Language Quotient uses effective and entertaining methods to teach languages. Some of the methods already in use are games, music, and flashcards. Each module is implemented with a colorful and attractive interface, and this is just version 1! This first release uses more than 1000 words in a variety of contexts, building a vocabulary adequate to engage in basic conversation. We want to make this great program available free or charge to everyone inside and outside of Russia, and we want everyone to thank you for bringing it to them.
Language Quotient presents both the interface and the studied "words and phrases" in two languages. As learning progresses, the user's native language can be hidden, allowing full immersion study. When a Chinese person studies Russian, for example, every part of the interface is displayed in Russian and Chinese. Chinese can be dropped as the user begins to read and understand Russian.
Additional modules provide learning through multimedia such as dialogs, videos, and music. We have developed world's best multilingual media player, allowing more than one subtitle language at a time. This system allows boxing of word-for-word translation, allowing intensive and accurate study. Users can click words or phrases during media to replay or repeat. In this way a user can listen to pleasant Russian music while soaking up the Russian language!
We have already borne the huge expense of creating the first major release of Language Quotient, which teaches English and Chinese. Your contribution will bring English and Chinese, and soon many other languages to all Russian speaking people. In addition, you will provide the opportunity for speakers of all of our other current and future languages to learn Russian. We particularly hope to help Russian children who are being raised outside of Russia to speak Russian fluently and correctly. We sincerely hope that you, or someone you know, is the right person or group to take on this important responsibility. This will be a great gift from you to Russian families around the world!
In addition to implementing many new languages, Language Quotient is slated for massive expansion. We are adding additional words and phrases, as well as more advanced games. New modules will help intermediate and advanced users develop their ability to read and communicate. Your continuing participation and support can help us to continue to expand and improve the Russian aspects of the system.

In fact, language learning has to be fast, accurate, and fun, or it will usually be unsuccessful. Our mission is to help millions of people successfully learn Russian and to help millions of Russians successfully learn English, Chinese, and many other languages.
The Founding Advocate for the Russian language is the person who contributes funds and advice that help us produce the world's finest Russian language program. There can be only one person to take this role, so you must be someone who takes deep pride in Russian language and culture. If you choose, you can expect your perspectives on Russian language and culture to be reflected in our work, as long as such views are reasonable and positive.
Steve Moraff, the founder of MoraffWare, is an American with a good working knowledge of the Russian language. Steve considers Russian to be one of a handful of truly global languages, and he hopes to use the Russian portion of this program to reach full fluency in Russian. The content portion of Language Quotient has already been translated into Russian. Some Russian songs have been translated and subtitled. However, final proofreading, speaking, and interface translation are still needed. There is already one extra module that teaches the Russian alphabet. Additionally, we plan a special module that teaches the extremely challenging subject of declension in the Russian language.
Russian music provides a great way for students to learn the language. As the Founding Advocate for Russian, you may assist us in obtaining permission from Russian recording artists to include their songs in Language Quotient. If you are a musician, you may choose to provide your music for the world to use to learn Russian. It may be an interesting task to work with musicians to gain their cooperation in the inclusion of some of their music in Language Quotient. Russian music provides a great way for students to learn the language. Folk music is especially good due to the clear pronunciation that is often present in such songs.
